Who decided we all use widescreen displays?
I know lots of folks have widescreen displays, and I use one myself sometimes, but please consider accommodating those who use smaller screens! Not to knock the overall enhanced design and functionality of the new site, and it looks great on my MacBook Pro 1440 x 900 screen, but my main screens are not puny: 19", 1280 x 1024, but I use them in 1024 x 1280 portrait orientation, which means that horizontal width is 1024. Side-to-side scrolling sucks. Thank god the message board topics list and reading pages are more accommodating, but here I am trying to write my post, and I'm STUCK in a fixed-width window that is half-again wider than my screen. Lots of side-to-side scrolling, which is perhaps the worst offense of fixed-width pages.
Bike fit
Does anyone know I place to get a good bike fit. I am sufferring from patellofemoral chondrosis and do NOT want to stop riding because of knee pain. Your help would be very much appreciated.
Bike Shipping
There was a recent post about shipping a bike for an affordable price. Can someone make suggestions?
Thanks!
Ride to White Plains
I am looking for a bike friendly route between NYC and White Plains. Any suggestions?
silly question
what does "bump" mean on the message board?
Shoutout for Neile in today's NYT Spokes blog
Neile represents recumbent riders well in this piece. Good show.

For what it's worth, I terribly miss the old site as well. It was a lifeline to some precious memories of riding with such a wonderful group. I still wear my NYCC jersey proudly here in Boston.
Best wishes all,

Sunday early afternoon ride
I can't ride in the am but am free as of 12:30 and would like to get a quick out & back to piermont, considering the weather is relatively nice. If you want to join, write me to [email protected] . I'm an "A rider" and my pace will be around 17-18 mph and very slow on even the slightest uphill. I can meet you at 12:30 at Grant's Tomb/122nd & RIverside Dr. Expect to be back around 3:30, 4:00 at the very latest.

175,000 lifetime miles for NYCC 30 year member Marty Wolf...Congratulations!!
Marty celebrated this event by arranging a stunning club ride to New City (Rockland's county seat) Saturday.
Missing cue sheets from ride library
Many cue sheets from the old ride library seem to have disappeared - particularly those in Westchester/CT. Could they be returned to the site please? Example: Tarrytown Ride, several Kensico Dam routes, a ride from North White Plains to Brewster, North and South Country Trailways etc etc . Those ones I actually have printed and rode but would like to find the others. Although old, most of the routes still work well.
Cannot access "new" Message Board from BlackBerry anymore...
Am I the only one? Was access to the new site from Blackberries tested beforehand?? I miss the old site...
