It would be easier to decide which postings to read if the "Topic" included a bit more information. Space to do that could be gained by tightening up on the real estate now given to "Created" -- do we really need to know the precise second a new posting went up? -- and to eliminating "Last Reply" -- is that urgent info? Those interested can find out by reading the, well, last reply.

This is not to disdain the new design -- a huge job -- but a small suggestion to make it more user-friendly, at least for this user.

No, don't spend another cent in improving this message board...

Please scrap it and move to a user-friendly platform like vBulletin or phpBB. Please!

And do we really need the weather forecast cluttering up the right side of every page?

With all due respect to the New York Cycle Club board of directors, they have approved a money pit, where questions about necessary changes have been met with responses like "I'll talk to our developer" and "it will cost us more money".

This should have the members very concerned.

Has the Web Master ever actually managed a web site before? Has the Web Master ever volunteered for a non-profit organization where managing costs is germian to the position? How could this all have possibly happened?

I would appreciate a full explanation by the Web Master. How did this all come about? The decision to buy into this margionally functional, costly Drupal solution?

In addition to poor decision making, I have yet to receive a reply to three emails sent over a week ago. And the contact page STILL doesn't even link to actual emails (instead, it links to itself)! It seems to me somebody got hired wayyyyyyyy too soon.

There are TONS of examples of excellent, FREE software based phpBB out there. There many great reasons you see this bb freeware in action more than any other!!!
