A /21+ Weekdays @ PP?
Does anyone know of any "fast" training rides that happen on a regular basis in PP during the week? My solo pace in the park sits around 21.5mph, and I'm looking for some groups to meet up with for some laps at, or ideally beyond that speed.
Thanks All!
Too soon to think about the mayor's race?

Not that I'm a one-issue voter, but the smell of caving in principles in pursuit of power is not a pleasant odor.
And doncha just love how time and time again the NY Post invokes that completely discredited form of journalism, the unnamed source, to put forward its editorial voice. Here, Post hack David Seifman writes, "One political source...."
California Law in the works - looks like a great idea
This would be a wonderful addition to NY/NJ laws, as well. http://act.transformca.org/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=10642
Bob Ross, your ride tomorrow morning, “Hump-Day Dance (early AM Piermont)”,
What a fascinating route to Piermont for your ride tomorrow morning. Thanks for posting the cue sheet on your ride listing. How'd you come up with that cue sheet? Google map? GPS? Atmospheric Concentration routing? Can’t wait. See you tomorrow.
Gran Fondo Gunks
Anyone planning to do this one?

Scouting Rides in New Jersey
As some of you may have noticed, I lead rides in New Jersey. I'm scouting two new routes over the next few weeks, if anyone wants to come along. Pace is B16-ish. Tentative dates:
Sunday, September 2nd: 75 miles, mostly flat, scouting for the "Great Adventure" ride (scheduled for 9/29)
Saturday, September 8th: 75 miles, 4700 ft of climbing. Loop from Princeton Junction to Frenchtown along the Delaware River and back.
Message/email me if you're interested.
Vittoria Open Corsa Evo: CX II , SC or Slick ??? (700x23, 320 TPI)
Trying to choose one out of the above 3 Vittoria tire models. CX II , SC or Slick. 700x23, 320 TPI.
To summaries feedback on these tires.
PROs - tires offer the most soft, road like, fun rides, very good for hills, acceleration, road grip, cornering.
CONs – compared to Conti 4000s, for instance, less durable (1500 /2000 back/front wheel lifetime vs 3000/4000) and a bit more prone to flats.
However, riding nice light bike and seeking for the most fun out of it… - would anyone share personal opinion and experience?
Thanks in advance
Bike box needed in October
I am attending my family reunion in October, and flying Frontier, which allows bike boxes to be brought along as first bag for only $20 (so RuthAnn is coming along for the ride). Does anyone happen to have a weather-resistant bike box I could borrow or rent from 10/1-11/2012?
I will greatly appreciate any help offered.
Bear Mountain
Rode solo to Bear Mountain, but after passing hessian lake, wound up at Bear Mountain Bridge. I only saw a dirt rode that said Bear Mountain. Can someone please let me know where the turn off was to enter the park and climb to the top, Feel I missed it following 9w
