Unfortunately Hudson Line MNR trains are not running passing Yonkers this weekend. There's no way we can do this ride the way it's planned. We're leaving it on the board so people can take themselve off to join other ride. The ride is cancelled.

Sorry but due to 60% chance of T-storms around noon and complications with MetroNorth service we must cancel.  We will try to list this ride again soon.  Julie and Claire.

We will be shifting to a new A20 ride for Sunday that avoids the Hudson Line, for approx. 15 people

An email will be sent to ride participants about the new route with new cue sheet and meeting place. 

Hi everyone:

Due to the high heat, we are making some changes to tomorrow's ride.

1. We will start 1 hour earlier, meeting at Grant's Tomb at 7am
2. We are modifying the route to shorten it to about 60 miles. We will still get to Nyack, but not as far as Little Tor or Rockland Lake. We'll do Clausland, Tweed, and of course, 9W hills.

If your plans have changed for any reason, please kindly remove yourself from the ride listing. Otherwise, we'll see you at Grant's Tomb tomorrow morning.

We realize we may have to cxl or re-schedule this ride due to the threat of severe t'showers in the afternoon. By starting one hour earlier we may be able to get the ride in. Nobody wants to be on the top of Perkins Memorial Drive during a T'shower. Plus, there may be MNRR issues, also. Stay tuned.

For Friday,  July 19  Hudson Line AM-peaks service remains suspended until further notice due to last night's freight train derailment in the vicinity of Spuyten Duyvil station. Customers are strongly recommended to make alternate service plans.
