It will have a ttl of 4,000 sq feet sales & service front of the house area.  Not included is the internet & Ebay business space  which is about 60% of its sales.

Its sales and service team of Glenn, Bill, Nestor, Franklin, Jason, Frank (who recently returned after a two year stint at a Melbourne, Australia bike shop), Mattty and Beth (a former NYCC member and my friend for 20 years) are all extemely capable, personable, technically competent+ and hard working..

Jones Beach

Submitted by April on Thu, 05/26/2016 - 12:38am

I'm contemplating going to the Jones Beach Air Show Sunday, by bike. Some friends may also be going, by boat.

Now, how to hook up between the land and sea contingent is the challenge. Anyone familiar with Jones Beach and know where any nearby piers/docks are located?

Signature Cycles Only Closed NYC Office. Where to go for a tune-up?

Submitted by DRosenberg on Wed, 05/25/2016 - 2:12pm

Signature Cycles just closed their NYC location.  They still have locations in Greenwich and Central Valley.

So where do I go for a quality tune-up now if I dont' have time to make it to Greenwich ... ?

If your Boa ever breaks...they have a great lifetime warranty

Submitted by GYang on Wed, 05/25/2016 - 9:21am

You know Boa, the company that makes those cable dial thingies you use to tighten your cycling shoes?

I just wanted to mention that they have a super easy lifetime warranty if anything ever goes wrong with the system.

A cable broke on one of my shoes after a few years. I went to their webpage (http://www.boatechnology.com/repair-center/) matched the dial to the pictures they have and they sent a repair kit free of charge. Received it in the mail in a few days.

The kit is complete with new dial, cables (two colors), tiny wrench and instructions. Took 10 minutes to put in the new one and the shoe is as good as new!

I am holding a room at the Stavleigh house, with check-in on Friday, May 27, and check-out on Monday, May 30.  Due to a family emergency, I will not be able to join the club for the Berks weekend.  Anyone wishing to take over my reservation can contact me directly or can contact the Stavleigh house and request to have my room (they have been advised as to my situation and will accept a new reservation).

Hi folks!

I'm Beth Slade and I'm the Events Manager at Transportation Alternatives.

We are having our first annual Bike the Boros - Brooklyn Queens Tour on Sunday, June 12.   For our inaugural tour, we will be starting at Citi Field!  The tour will feature two distances: a 20-mile "rolling parade" ride with NYPD escort, and a 40-mile open road ride.

Hi, I've never done this ride but am considering the century route.  How does this compare to GFNY century?

Thanks!
