I'm moving to Baton Rouge, LA in July and am desperately seeking a cycling group in the area. I know there is Baton Rouge Bike Club but it is nowhere near as superb as NYCC. I figured I'd give it a shot and see if anyone knows of any groups in the area. Thanks in advance!

Hear ye, hear ye!  Important announcement re Memorial Day weekend in the Berkshires.

There is a sign up page to let the powers to be know you are coming.  There will be a “last minute” mailing sent out Wednesday, 5/25 to everyone who signed up. This mailing will spell out details of the weekend; about the All Class Club BBQ Saturday evening, about the All Class Club Ice Cream Social Sunday night, cue sheets, other rides, restaurants, all kinds of stuff.  SIGN UP!  HURRY! Ride: I ride from West side highway "Greenway" @ Houston Street north to GWB and back.  Route is greenway to 72 street, then north on Riverside drive to 165 street, then right on 165 street and left St nicholas north to the GWB.   Happy to either turn around at 165 street if group doesn't care to go to bridge OR go over GWB.  Trip is roughly 20-25miles RT.

Time: I leave around 2-3pm.  Happy to do later if that suits other riders.

Hi - I just received notice that AAA coverage is available for cycle riders at no additional costs. Those of you that have AAA coverage for roadside assistance now have the coverage for up to 2 incidents per year. See below from their website

AAA Bicycle Service is free and available to all membership levels! There is no sign up or enrollment. AAA Members automatically receive two bicycle calls per year.
