Might be a bit late to get a response but is Central Park likely to be ridable tomorrow morning? 

Hi all, I am a roady down in Gainesville, Florida.  I am writing a novel about a roady living in NYC.  As a setting, I am looking for any suburban neighborhood or community *inside* one of the boroughs, where a roady can hop on his bike and find open roads without driving.  Roads where a double pacelines are common. I am thinking maybe somewhere out in Queens.

I am sure there are plenty of places to choose from, so let me know your ideas!

Thank you very much for your help.  Oh, the community would have to be middle class or higher, preferably middle class.
