So you think you are hard
Just came accross this page and it is a trully humbling account of what real hard men were.
I am sure Richard R knows about this guy.

pre-SIG advice
With only two (2) days left before your SIG begins, here's some last minute advice...
For those in the A-Classic, or the A-SIG, your leaders will be giving your bikes the once over on Saturday morning. Impress the heck out of us by showing up with a bike that looks like it can be ridden 100 miles that day (BTW, the B-SIG leaders look at your bike too, but this weekend, the B-SIG won't be on the road [only the park], both of the A's will)... what does that mean?
It means:

Has anyone cycled the Blue Ridge Mountains w/ Black Bear Adventures?
Here is their link:

This trip has been on my bucket list ever since an article about it appeared in Bicycling Mag some years ago (wish I could find it now . . ) The first three days average about 85 mikes and 8000' of climbing. (Yikes!)
I've been emailing with the owner/operator of the tour company, and he sounds like a real gent.
SW Nashville
A few friends and I are headed to TN for some riding this weekend. We're staying out by the Natchez Trace. If anyone has been and has suggestions for good riding, we'd love to hear.
Thanks!
Has anyone ordered and received the new NYCC jersey design from Champion?
I ordered the new jersey from Champion and few weeks ago and it arrived today. However, it turns out that they sent me the prior jersey design (with NYCC and subway tiles). It's nice, but I already have one.
I just went back to the web store, and they only show the new jersey design, so I hope they accept it as their error and send me one in the new design without charging me.
I have emailed Champion, but I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Central Park Loop Regular Winter Riders
Does anybody foresee any ice on the loop tomorrow from run off refreezing? I looked like there was a lot of potential for black ice.
I did my first miles for this year only yesterday but now I'm anxious to keep going!
Thanks.
