Well, I do use this laptop for cycling info . . so yes, it's a stretch of a post - - but would really really help me bigtime to figure out if my "no power issue" is due to a dead external AC adaptor  OR a more serious malfunction within the laptop (  dang!). There are supposed to be a wide range of SONY and FUJITSU laptops with a compatible adapter.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Ride Leader Tally for 2010

Submitted by abrowning on Mon, 03/07/2011 - 12:04pm

Wow! In 2010, we had 294 Club members who led a total of 2,210 rides! Pretty impressive!

It has been NYCC practice to give members who have led 3 or more rides a token of the Club's appreciation. This year, as in the past,
members who have led:

* 3-5 rides will receive an NYCC water bottle

* 6-11 rides will receive newly designed NYCC socks

* 12 or more rides will receive a custom-designed jersey (based on our new design), which will be available only to these leaders

Please review the 2010 Ride Leader Tallies List (in the eweekly and on the home page) to confirm that we have recorded the correct number of rides that you have led.

Looking For Commuting Bike

Submitted by APogue-Campbell on Mon, 03/07/2011 - 9:33am

I have a friend who wants to buy a used bike to commute to the PATH train. Nothing fancy, something that stands up to the weather. Please let me know if you have one you would be willing to sell.
