Just an FYI that there's a lot of glass at the NY side entrance of the GWB. Hopefully it will be cleared by tomorrow but keep an eye out.

NYCC named a Bicycle Club of the Year

Submitted by EJaffe on Fri, 03/04/2011 - 10:28am

NYCC has just been named a Bicycle Club of the Year ….one of 8 clubs picked nationally by the League of American Bicyclists.

As much as recognizing the depth and breath of our rides, events, programs and growing community involvement, being named is also a tribute to our 75th anniversary year.

This is the good company we’re in:

Baltimore Bicycling Club

Bicycle Coalition of the Ozarks

Bloomington Bicycle Club

Blue Ridge Bicycle Club

Bonneville Cycling Club

San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club

Westchester Cycle Club

For those of you who don't know the writer, Jason is a recreational and competitive cyclist in our area.

I was hoping someone else would start this thread. Am I the only one?? Sigh.

Anyway, I'm excited. I just hope my bike doesn't fall apart when I get on it, leaving me holding the handlebars :)
