Looking for Alan Resnick
Can help me get in touch with Alan Resnick? We rode together on Sunday and I wanted to contact him to discuss something further. my email is [email protected]
Thanks!!!
Not on point because it is motorcycles and Kansas...but it is qualified permission to run red lights.
Down for a long time with clavicle fracture.
So, when I left home for a ride in Central Park for the first time in 2 weeks on Friday, Feb. 4, (jokingly, I thought) I told someone I was going to the park to get a ticket, because that was just after the CP ticket blitz began, and I've ridden there 1000 times. Instead, because of sloppy road maintenance or someone's deliberate act, I ended up on the ground behind the Lasker bathhouse with a concussion and what turned out to be a devastating fracture of my left clavicle.
Caution on River Road
Tis the season, folks. While River Rd has been great most of the winter, we all know what happens in the Spring. Going north today, just after the gate we go around (about halfway through) there were a lot of brances all over the road. Then, at the bottom of one of the last downhills before the Alpine climb, there were a couple of LARGE boulders and pieces of same in the middle of the road. As the temps warm up, more rocks will loosen from all the water/snow in the ground. Please be cautious!
Road bike rentals in Miami area
Does anybody know a bike shop with a good supply of high-end road bikes on the north side of Miami? I guess anywhere from Ft. Lauderdale down to Miami Beach would be OK, as long as I can cycle from there. Last time I was there I rented from a local shop near my mom, but they didn't have a sufficient supply of road bikes to fit me properly, and the bikes they had weren't anything special. Anybody know a high-end shop with rentals?
