A question for the lawyers and legal minds on the MB regarding ticketing
Hyperthetically:
If I were stopped by the police on bike without ID and ticketed as many have been for a minor infraction. Then when questioned by the police if I carefully answered their questions in ways not to admit my strawman name.
Eg. "whats your name?"
"My family name is Bloggs, my friends call me Joe" and so on.
Can I get to court and argue the person on paper in all caps is not me. I'm a person, not a corporation and push the strawman angle. Can the court be forced to dismiss a case as long as no third party is effected?
Last minute Nyack ride tomorrow, A-19
Just created a ride listing for tomorrow, so it may not be approved in time. Headed to Nyack via Clausland > Tweed. 65-70ish miles, A-19 pace, rotating paceline. Meeting at Engineer's Gate tomorrow at 8am.
We'll decide the exact route based on the desires of the group, but it will be something like this, but with entry to Nyack via Clausland > Tweed: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1278287
Where's a good bar in Manhattan to watch the Tour de France?
Any suggestions greatfully received

USADA files motion to dismiss Armstrong lawsuit

"The motion, filed Thursday in Austin, Texas, cites the Ted Stevens Amateur Sports Act, which gives USADA jurisdiction over athletes who compete in Olympic sports.
It also includes a 2005 affidavit from USADA CEO Travis Tygart stating that Armstrong took part in USADA's testing program and was under its jurisdiction — the opposite claim Armstrong is making in the current case.

Ride Leader Training
We still have a few openings for our Ride Leader Training program this Saturday, July 21.
We’ll have an hour-long relaxed training class together over breakfast at the Boathouse outdoor café, followed by an all-day on-the-road training ride of approximately 45 miles in 2 groups at a B15 and C14 pace.
PLEASE NOTE: that this one-day program is open ONLY to people who are willing to lead/co-lead a ride. It is NOT intended for those who just personally want some instruction on how to be better riders (although of course there will be some coaching all day).
Please read the ride details under Upcoming Rides for a full description of the program.
