Revised: A Jaunt through Bergen and Rockland for pizza

Submitted by DHudes on Wed, 07/10/2013 - 2:58pm

Due to conflict with the NYC Triathlon and expected traffic on Riverside Drive and that the Triathlon is taking over Central Park as well, I've moved the start point to the NJ side of GWB and pushed the time back to 10:15 AM.

I've trimmed official ride distance accordingly.

With the 3+ week advance reservation, how many riders can we put aboard Metro North on

- the 7:44 AM to Poughkeepsie?

- the 7:48 AM to Wassaic?

- 7:07 AM or 8:07 AM to New Haven / Danbury / Waterbury?

whether it's one NYCC group or more.

Also for return trains...

Ride Library - Keyword Search

Submitted by lightspeed on Wed, 07/10/2013 - 8:23am

I would like to search the ride library for things like Bradley, Tweed, Whipporwill, Bear, etc.  Is there a way to do this or can this be added?

On a newbie leading rides

Submitted by egstillman on Tue, 07/09/2013 - 1:13pm

Hiya,

I'm a newer member of the club, having done my one and only club ride with the 'Newcomer's to Piermont' a couple of weeks ago. Are there any restrictions on who can lead rides, or any sort of training/orientation that must be done? (Apart from reading and complying with the Leader's Training Manual and Guidelines.)

I do most of my riding on weekdays, maximizing the fun in my unemployment, but I'm not as quick as the Unemployment Ride group already up and running. I was thinking of seeing if anyone might be intereested in B-pace weekday rides.

Thanks for any tips or advice.
