I read the book some time ago and really enjoyed it. Now there is a film of the book. I did not know this till yesterday when my wife presented me with two tickets for a showing next week at the Tribeca Film Festival. I think Richard Moore is going to be around some nights for a Q&A. I think he's a fine writer. His other cycling book that I'm aware of is a biography of quirky Scottish climber Rpbert Millar, a top read also in my opinion.

As a somewhat related cycling film aside I believe the Paul Kimmage documentary was slated for a Spring 2014 release but haven't seen any new info on it lately. Anybody hear anything?

Can anyone suggest a bike route from Manhattan to Robert Moses State Park or, if that is not possible, to Bay Shore?

To the Wise (& not so wise) People on this Forum,

As you've been reading in media over last few weeks, Citibike as a program is in very poor financial condition and continues to lose money. New York City under Mayor Bloomberg had committed that NYC would not ever provide taxpayer funds to assist Citibike. Mayor Deblasi seems not to have offered any proposals.

What creative financial and operating solutions can you propose to improve Citibike's ability to offer cycling to ALL city residents, visitors and tourists, and improve Citibike's financial condition?

Anybody know what channel it's on live. I can only find a repeat playing Monday.

I'd like to buy a baby seat for my 15-month-old - it's going to get mounted on a mountain bike which has eyelets at both the rear axle and halfway up the triangle.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  I'd like to get something fairly nice.  I have no idea what's out there so I am asking NYCC for good advice!

I'm talking a bike seat - like Linus (or was that Rerun?) used to ride in.
