Submitted by EWeiss on Fri, 06/27/2014 - 2:45pm

Hi All,

Please join us on Tuesday, July 8th, at our next meeting, for an exciting and informative program at Draught 55 - midtown's finest craft beer bar, 245 E. 55th St. (just west of 2nd Ave.). We are trying out their "Atrium", to see if this gorgeous space works well for our meetings. You can help us decide by attending the meeting and giving us your feedback at: [email protected]. You can either sit and dine at their long beautiful bar, high top tables or their banquet seating area. You will be able to order directly fom their menu. There will not be a buffet. No purchase necessary to attend.

Looking for roads to ride around Port Jervis, NY

Submitted by cjones on Fri, 06/27/2014 - 10:51am

Any suggestions on road cycling routes in or around Port Jervis/Milford/Middletown area?

I'll be staying around Port Jervis so rides around there would be great but I'll take anything in the general area!

If not, any suggestions where I could find this info would be great.

Thanks in advance,  Clark

SIG question

Submitted by GeorgeArcarola on Wed, 06/25/2014 - 9:45am

With the exception of the twelve (12) weeks from the first Saturday in March until the weekend before Memorial Day, I talk about the SIGs more often than a politician makes promises. For some reason, people I haven't ridden with before keep showing up on rides that I lead (talk about foolhardiness), or other rides that I sign up for. Or even worse, they stand next to me at the bar during a club meeting for more than 6.7 seconds. In any of these cases, I am most likely in full SIG-marketing mode... "Did you take a SIG?"... "If so, who'd you ride with?"... "Thinking of taking a SIG next spring?"... etc., etc... I can only imagine how annoying it is...
