I'm a big fan of 25mm. I don't know if I go faster but I butt definitely appreciates the smoother ride.

Father's Day morning workout ride

Submitted by DHudes on Thu, 06/12/2014 - 6:03pm

I put in a last minute ride for Sunday morning. It's something like a high B pace on an A route so I put it as an A ride. Lots and lots of climbing because I need to work on climbing. If you join me, please wait for me at the top I won't be THAT far behind.

I need to return home by 10:45 AM latest. I figure I can barely squeeze in all the miles and climbing if I start 7:15 AM from W72nd and Riverside.

Introductory A training laps for Friday 6/12 cancelled

Submitted by DHudes on Thu, 06/12/2014 - 5:24pm

The forecast is 70% chance of rain beginning hours before and continuing hours after. Therefore, laps for tomorrow morning are cancelled. I have listed the same training laps for the next 2 Fridays when hopefully we will have better weather.

I'm planning a ride to Croton Point Park and one of the route options is the S County Trailway and continuing onto the N. County Trailway. Has anyone ridded these as far a Croton-on-Hudson? Are they entirely paved or paved and hardpack?

I would prefer to ride a scenic, paved route in fairly good condition...if that's possible these days.

If you have information about these paths, or have an alternative route you're willing to share, I'd appreciate your input.

Thanks,

Joe
