The tiny village of South Nyack is taking on the state Thruway Authority over its plans for the new Tappan Zee Bridge.

Icy conditions is the stated reason. Will update when they send the "reopen" alert.

I am looking for a good bike trainer for the winter (I'm a southener at heart so this cold weather has me hibernating already!). I don't want to break the bank, take up too much room and i want to keep my apartment so the less noise the better. I've looked at rollers but they are slightly intimidating yet look like a fantastic all around workout since balance is key to staying upright on them. Is the mileage log up for the 2015 year?

Ok EPO has a bad name. So what is this legal EPO BOOST? Will I be ban from NYCC OR the CRCA, will I be called a cheater?

Has anybody had any recent experience with Independent Fabrications. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a new custom Ti frame.

Lots of small branches, rocks and even a few down trees blocking the road It's passable but you have to get off the bike at least twice and caution is in order.

We are looking for volunteers to be front-table greeters for upcoming club events, the first of which will be the Holiday Party on December 16th. The other dates through June 2015 are shown below (usually the second Tuesday of the month) along with the location and agenda if available.

We need 2 volunteers for most of the events. You will need to arrive before 5:45 pm to greet the earliest arrivals (before 6:45 pm for the Holiday party). Responsibilities are simple and easy - to greet attendees, hand out raffle tickets, point to the coat racks etc...

Volunteers will receive a firm handshake, a big "Thank you", and 0.5 points of club volunteer service. You can volunteer for as many events as you like.

You can say that we're wimps.

You can say that we're cowards.

You will NOT be able to say that we were caught in a cold and miserable rain.
