Looking for a photo
I'm in need of a photo of the Market on 9W... I want to use it for a little something being put together for Sunday, 10/25... If you should happen to have a photo that I can use on the carousel (opening page of the club website) please reply below... Ideally, the pic would be of the Market itself.
Thanks,
George

Fall Foliage Ride #1
Thank you Sabina & Rob for organizing a lovely day on (and off!) the bike. Great route, great company. Your time/efforts are appreciated.
If you think ticketing cyclists in Brooklyn isn't racial, think again.
Tomorrow's (Saturday's) ClimBathon (B-18) moved to Sunday.
Same time (9:30). Same place (Boathouse). Same curmudgeonly leader.
Can one receive red light tickets in the upper half of Central Park?
I.e., the portion that is closed off to vehicular traffic? The thought has occurred to me many a time, and I was wondering if I should retain my heightened level of vigilance throughout the entire six-mile loop, or if I can let my guard down (even by just a tad) while in the upper half of the park. I am pretty sure I know what the answer is, but nevertheless wanted to see if anyone had any anecdotes or personal experience to share. Mostly, I'd like to avoid 'gotcha' tickets (e.g., I go through a red - not even pausing to Idaho stop - because the coast was clear and an LEO jumps out from behind a bush and pulls me over, etc.).

Upper Saddle River may have a ticket with your name on it
and i'm not talking about a winning Lotto ticket.
Is this only Upper Saddle River? nope! The police in Piermont were kind enough to warn us during ENY. Now it's up to you.
