"Better Cue Sheets" Slides

Submitted by Mucow on Tue, 11/10/2015 - 8:53pm

For those of you unable to attend tonight's club meeting, or those wishing to relive the magic, below is a link to the slides I used when giving my talk tonight on RideWithGPS and Roboviva:

...since I haven't yet written part two of "Better Cue Sheets", here's the quick summary of how to clean up cue entries:

All set, thank you everyone who may have looked at this msg.

I am working this evening so can't attend NYCC's meeting

Would appreciate help picking up a small paperback library book a friend is bringing in for me . . and holding it (doormen buildings would make this extra easy :>) . . . so I can arrange to pick up from you.

Anyone?

Thank you,

Susan Rodetis

VOTE ! ! !

Submitted by CGuzzetta on Mon, 11/09/2015 - 1:38pm

If you haven't yet voted, now is the time for your voice to be heard. I understand electronic voting ends tomorrow morning, Tuesday, 11/10,  7:00 am. You'll also be able to vote in person until 8:00 PM at the club meeting (see the home page for details about the meeting).

It appears the campaigning is pretty much over. You've read the candidates' statements, you've followed the "conversations" on the message board, and many of you know each of the candidates personally. Now is the time to be counted. The only way you are counted, the way your voice is heard the loudest, is with your vote. I hope you'll take this opportunity to speak up on behalf you your club and vote.

He does make sense finally near the very end.  The rest is very convoluted.

Hi Everyone --

Cool Article About our Own Alex Ostroy in today's WSJ Magazine

Nice article about custom bike painting in the Nov 8 WSJ Magazine.  Poseur Sport Bicycle Painting, a collaboration between graphics designer and NYCC member (and founder of NY Velocity training team) Alex Ostroy and master finisher James Terrani.

Only one example pictured in the online edition of the article, but here are others: http://www.poseursport.com/bicycle-painting.

Very cool.

This time of year with the changeable weather it's the constant question.

For the last year I have been using an iPhone app that has been working perfectly.

I have no connection with this just sharing the best 2.99 cycling accessory..
