Submitted by BJalan on Mon, 08/23/2021 - 9:44am

Hi - Wanted advice on Campy EPS record install on Colnago C64 disc

What are best suited for this combination in terms of:

- Bottom Bracket

- Front chain ring - 2x 52-34

- Cassette 11-32 (will it be suitable or some other combination like 11-30 / 11-28 is better (Considering a ceramic speed oversized pulley)

- Most websites only offer upgrade kits . Which have (FD, RD, shifters, brake levers & crank) what else will be required - battery, junction box, etc?

Thanks much.

Well, not to worry, you who fleece yourselves: it's just the custom side of the market going down.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for your heroic efforts this afternoon putting on the All-Class ride lunch at Rye Beach.

The caterer was terrific, sandwiches creative and delicious, and even the chips were an innovation.

Amazing job. Your non-stop work paid off big-time.

Thanks again.

Alternate route to Greenwich, over the Tappan Zee?

Submitted by EODonnell on Mon, 08/09/2021 - 8:30am

We rode the Greenwich, CT Mansions ride last Saturday.  The Bronx was dreary.  So much so that I doubt  my ride partner will want to ever go through it again.  So what is the alternative?  As per Google, we could go over the GW, up 9W, over the Tappan Zee*, and then what.  I looked on Google Bicycle Maps and saw that one (via 119-E) could go over White Palins Rd. (119), until it becomes Main St. in White Plains, when it crosses the Sprain Brook Pkwy it then changes its name to Tarrytown Rd., R turn and south onto Lexington Ave., continue onto Bryant, right onto Westchester Ave. (120).  Is this really viable?  Or as a lot of traffic, poor shoulder?  I honestly don’t know. 17.2 miles
