Riverside Dr. closed 120-122nd on Sat all day for GT Criterium
Message from the organizer:
Hi NYCCers,
As you mnay already know, the Grant's Tomb Critierium will take place this Saturday, March 10. From 5:30am until 5:30pm Riverside North and South will be closed from 120th to 122nd street to allow for safe running of the races. I would appreciate it if you could let your membership know that and that bike traffic is also precluded from using Riverside there also.
As an alternative, we recommend using Broadway from 120th to 135th.
It's not the greatest ride but it will put you back onto Riverside promptly and the traffic should be lighter there due to our race.

Hudson Greenway to Manhattan Bridge Bike Route?
I'm attempting to ride to work for the first time and am a bit nervous about the route. I'm coming from Washington Heights (getting on the greenway at Dyckman) and going to Borough Hall in Brooklyn. Everyone I've talked to says to avoid the Brooklyn Bridge so I'm trying to take the Manhattan Bridge. Does this look like a good route to take:
- Get off the Greenway at Warren and head toward City Hall
- Turn left onto Centre St
- Turn right onto Grand
- Turn right onto Chrystie
- Then pick up the Manhattan Bridge pathway

Thanks.
