Hudson River Greenway extension north from GW Bridge to Dykeman
"Manhattan Community Board 12 is asking the city to use federal infrastructure money to straighten out a notoriously tricky stretch of the Hudson River Greenway north of the George Washington Bridge so that cyclists no longer have to mount a treacherous switchback under Washington Heights"
Route 22 and Fox Meadow
Today I rode Route 22 from White Plains to Armonk. The road going north has many potholes If you ride it beware. In addtion Fox Meadow is Scarsdale has plates as thye are installing new gas lines.
Report of my first ride of the year
Ride: One (1) lap of Central Park.
I propose to ride in the Alps this summer. Can anyone tell me if they are steeper or longer than Harlem Hill?
Also: The effect of weight loss on uphill speed: In my case, none; none at all.

Condition of River Road and 9W
In a word: excellent. This afternoon River Road was dry, clear of leaves and debris, and it's usual wonderful self. The 9W shoulder on the way back was the same: clear and dry, and with no sign of residual salt.
New Kit sizing?
Anyone have experience with Pactimo (new kit brand) sizing?
Says italian sizing, but does that mean Castelli type sizing (runs incredibly small)? I am usually always a medium, except for castelli which I am usually a large. I looked at the sizing tables and videos and they are helpful, but thought I would check in the forum.
I am 5'10 / 165lb

When is the GWB north side opening?
My hatred of the climb after the turn on the GWBridge has gotten into my head to the point where I am avoiding the bridge at all costs. Looking for information on the planned opening of the path on the other side: can't find it.
Anyone?
