Western Highway between Blauvelt and West Nyack was closed post-Ida last fall. Presently, Google is showing it as closed for cars but not for bikes. Does anyone know if it is OK for bikes now?

Peter Storey and I have just posted a C-14 ride to New Bridge Landing for this coming Sunday, February 27. The ride is especially suitable for new members but all are welcome. 

New Bridge Landing was an important place to cross the Hackensack River during the American Revolution. The "New Bridge" was erected in about 1887.

I’m Chloe, a current senior at Cornell studying fiber science. I found your email from the League of American Bicyclists and wanted to reach out. Some students and I are interested in developing electronic biking gear that would increase the safety and visibility of user in high traffic areas and at night under the name BikeBright.

Over the years, I've heard about this ride many times from various club members and my wife and I are finally thinking of giving it a try. But we're not into camping. Any thoughts or suggestions?

With the return of peak fares on Tuesday, March 1, bicycles are not permitted on peak trains arriving in Grand Central Terminal weekdays between 6am and 10am and departing Grand Central Terminal between 4pm and 8pm.
