Parking on NJ side of GWB
Hi all,
My apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere in the forum. I couldn't find the answer, so I figured I would ask. If it has already been addressed, please feel free to point me to the post.
I am going to be riding to Bear Mtn and back on Saturday, and want to start on the NJ side of the GWB to cut out 30 junk miles (from Queens). I know that parking is no longer allowed on Hudson Terrace, so where is a good place to park? Any suggestions within about 1-5 miles is fine. Is there a common practice now that the Hudson Terrace is off limits?
Thanks in advance.
Kevin
Dux Helm Helmets?
Does anyone have experience with Dux Helm helmets? I heard word that someone in the club has one, and I'd be very interested in hearing how you like it.
When are you most likely to get hit? And by who? The answer is here.

I'm looking forward to the "cycling and governance" panel discussion at the next club meeting.
Custom-made bikes
I'm looking for information on custom-made bikes and gear. Can anyone point me in that direction? Manufacturers, equipment?
Thanks,
Michelle
Late posted ClimBathon for this Sunday, 9:30. B-18. Boathouse. 60 mi. Hills. Dales. Valleys. Peaks. Sarcasm.
Actually, the ride is not even listed yet on the upcoming rides...but it will be. And if not, it'll still happen. 9:30 Boathouse B-18. See the ride write-up for Saturday's ClimBathon. Same ride.
If there's no sign-up sheet by the time you want to, write me using the envelope icon to the left, which just happens to be where my politics are.

Morning ride with Jim Olson
I enjoyed my first ride with leader Jim Olson this morning! A bit cold, but all in all it was a great experience for me as I have usually ridden solo in the past. Great group, even though there were only four of us all together.
Thanks to everyone!
