Looking to Borrow/Rent a Bike Case April 19-30
I'm looking to borrow a bike case (to put the bike in for an overseas flight) April 19-30.
Will pay a reasonable rental fee.
I've heard that the club owns some and rents these out...didn't know whom to contact about that.
Thanks.
Is there interest in Week Night Pick-up rides in CP , A19-20 UNOFFICIAL NON-SANCTIONED BY NYCC
This would be an UNOFFICIAL NON-SANCTIONED by NYCC Ride.
What does that mean? We are on our own for insurance, liability, injury and Bad Press.
Until the rules in CP change we will be doing this as any pick up ride, no different than anyother "who wants to ride" style.
Most likely 2X a week starting at 7PM, with 3-4 laps.
Each ride will be limited to 6 riders. Sorry folks but the smaller the group the less chance of making waves with the powers to be.
It will be decided if we will have a 2nd group or slower group.
Jersey Fit Kits Available at Tonight's Meeting
I will have jersey fit kits at tonight's club meeting. I will not have sample vests or jackets to try on but the sizing is the same as the jerseys.

NJ Route Planning
Hi
I am planning a ride from the GWB to Long Valley, NJ, and would welcome suggestions for most direct, safe route. I don't want to ride through Newark, nor do I want to ride for any considerable distance on Rt 46.....
Thx
This just in: Helmets are Dangerous!
C ride to the market cancelled

DIY Bike shop?
I'm embarking on a new build soon and my goal is to do 100% of the work myself this time around. I'm a decent wrench and can do most of the work myself but there are a few tasks that I either don't have the tools for or could use some guidance with. Does anyone know of a shop that will allow you to use their bench/tools and will guide you through the installation of different components, instead of just doing the work themselves?
I did a search and 718 Cyclery looks promising. Anyone have experience with them? Any others I should be looking into? Thanks!
