I insure my coop with Allstate. They refuse to cover my bikes (4 bikes, avg cost 5k) for more than 1k per bike. Please share if you have an insurer that covers bikes as a scheduled item.

Last evening, at the annual Holiday Party, I had shared the honor of being a poster boy with Jim Finder, Peter Storey for volunteering service to the NYCC cycling community.

Because of the rain forecast, we have moved up our Shopping Ride to Piermont Bicycle Connection, https://nycc.org/node/172605 from Sunday to TOMORROW, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10. 

New meeting place and time: J Hood Wright Park, entrance at 173rd & Ft. Washington Ave, at 10am, near the #1 and A trains.

No change to the restroom as far as I could see. They removed the concrete and put in grass between the restroom and the fence, so you can no longer make a sharp left as soon as you enter the park to park your bike between the restroom and the fence.

I think I know the answer, but there've been a number of recent rides that end on Randall's Island.  A place that nobody lives, and mass transit services are pretty limited.  Perhaps the ride listings could speak a bit as to how participants can get home from there when the ride ends?

Just a heads up they are woking on Wadsworth between Fenimore and White plains. Part of the road is closed, full of plates and the detour is also full of plates. All of this should be avoided.  

The north end of Central Park was closed when I tried to get through last night, although the signs still said the closure would end on 12/2. I asked a runner if the roadway beyond the barricades was passable, and he said it was not after about 100 feet.

If anyone has info about when the road will reopen, please post.
