Help with wireless provider ...
Last week, after years of using AT&T, I switched to Spectrum—who resells the Verizon wireless network. The cost is significantly lower because I already have Spectrum at home, but I've gotten more "no connection to the internet" episodes in one week than in ten years with AT&T. This is mostly New York City use with an excursion out to Farmingdale.
So now I'm strongly considering going back to AT&T. I don't do much data streaming, but coverage—particularly out in the boonies—is paramount.
Has anyone done a bike fit at Ride Brooklyn? Other bike fit referrals?
Hi all, I'm hunting to refresh my bike fit. Among some options I'm considering is the fitting service at Ride Brooklyn on Bergen in Park Slope. My favorite LBS for routine service -- great staff, fair prices, community oriented, comfortable working on high end road bikes. Link to their bike fit offering below.
Curious if anyone has tried a bike fit there? Also seeking other referrals for a bike fit, if you have anyone you'd recommend I consider.

Thanks for your thoughts.

accessing Hudson River Greenway from W 79th
This morning I tried to get to the greenway, north-bound, from W 79th. I thought I was following bike detour signs, but I ended up on very bad pavement and then encountered multiple flights of stairs. What's the preferred route?
Century rides
I'm looking to do 2 or 3 century rides in 2023 and I'm looking for recommendations. Yes, I know about the Grand Fondo, it's on my list, but I'm also hoping to find centuries in New England and maybe down south. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Is it permissable to ride a bike on this trail in Harriman?
Is it allowed to ride a bike on the trail that starts at mile 3.5 on this route?

I am asking because I have heard that you can't ride bike on trails in Harriman. And it is enforced.
On sattelite view it def looks like a hiking trail. Any intel will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Bar accessory doohickey questions
Hi:
My cycling saga's latest episode is a new (to me) road bike. The drop bar does not leave me enough space for the accessories I've grown accustomed to from my flat bar bikes; Garmin, headlight, bag, bell, camcorder. See picture below (headlight is under the Garmin.)
My new great grandson
Proud to relate that my granddaughter - Allie Kandel Dietz - was delivered of her first child (my first great grandson) Charles Ellis Dietz on January 11, 2023. Proud father is Mike Dietz.

Rob(ert) Schoenbohm just had a (thus far) successful liver transplant
If you know anyone who has had a transplant of any organ, he would like to learn of their recovery experience.
His letter states: I believe it is possible to return to full activity but what the arc of recovery might look like is unknown.
We live in hope, I am most fortunate for the chance I have been given and mean to use it well. Things could still go south and fast, but everyday risk is reduced, so we just will go at it day by day.
Simple good wishes are, of course, also and always appreciated.
Mini pump under bottle cage - left side or right?
I'm putting an old mini pump to use. It has a mounting clip that fits under a bottle cage, can go on the left or right (drive) side. In a prior life, it sat on the left. I realize that when I lay my bike down, it's always drive side up. So, it would make sense to mount the pump on the drive side. But won't that expose the it to spray from the chain? Thx.
