No snow. Some mud, but not predominantly muddy. However, the bike needed to be washed when home.

Looking for a long Sunday group ride?
Hi there,
My name is Laine, and I am a new member to NYCC. I am looking for other competitive cyclists who wish to ride as a group on Sundays. Ride length varies from 4-6 hours. I only see a "C level" ride on Sundays, and feel there is a need for an A/B group ride.
I will check this forum for replies on Fridays to see about coordinating a meet up point: NJ side og GWB is a great option IMO.
Let's see what happens!
CSIG Classification POSTPONED TO SUNDAY
Due to inclement weather, we are postponing CSIG classification to sunday. Same Time and Place, just moved to sunday.
Please remember this weekend, we switch to Day Light Savings, so Spring Forward your clocks.
And if you'll be using public transportation, plan for sunday schedules.

Proposals for redesigning Prospect Park Drive
Prospect Park Alliance has announced a pilot program for redesigning traffic lanes - we'll soon see an 18-month trial of an additional pedestrian lane on the right. Further options are being considered. The Alliance is conducting a survey in which it seems to be presenting a choice between two strategies: i) a rational, maximal separation between the slowest and fastest users, and ii) a traffic calming attempt to slow down cyclists with measures such as pinch points (eg planters in the fast bike lane!) and slow hours at unspecified times of the day.
I hope they can be persuaded that promoting smooth, predictable, seperate flow for cyclists will be safest for everybody. So let's chime in to support safe, fun cycling.
