i need to put my tuesday 7am hill repeats on hiatus. it saddens me b/c i've been leading these rides every single week since 2006 when i was doing the c-sig. i'm playing with the big boys and girls now so i need to train with them. but like arnold, "i'll be back."

i'll still be in the hill, so say hi as we pass each other.

No one has signed up to participate- heads up to everyone who cares about this issue.

I've changed the plan- we'll be meeting at TOG at 5:50 and NOT at the boathouse at 6:30, and getting petitions signed at TOG where groups meet to begin rides.
Anyone who wants to join and pick up some petitions to take to a different location, you can meet us at 5:50 at TOG. Please bring a pen.

I would get a few people together who would like to train in CP at the evening, 6.30p or so. I am riding the A-19 Sig. Please contact me if you are interested.

It appears I can take a few turns and go over a bridge to get to Jones Beach from Rockaway Beach.

Just a shout-out to Betsy Hafkin and Bob Ross for leading an awesomely cohesive, fun, beautifully planned ride today. It's the hardest I've personally pushed in quite awhile, and with the head wind seeming to follow us whichever way we rode, the cooperation and skill set of those on the ride was enjoyable. I really liked the route, the company, and the exhaustion my body feels tonight! Sorry I bailed on you guys on the way back, but I just needed to take it down a notch for the last leg home. Let's do it again soon!

Good ride yesterday, thank you everyone. Even though I went down whippoorwill and my hollowpin chain broke coming back up, I had a great ride.

Wanted to thank County Cycle Center for taking care of us on such short notice--may not have ultra high end bikes hanging on the wall but those guys are the real deal, I know the owner has donated bikes to kids and helped out the local kids in a few different ways. I wish we had more community-oriented guys running shops around here--kind of glad that they dont even have a website.

After my escapade with the broken chain I had to ride back south on 22 with my newly too-short chain and saw the road crew patching the north side of rt 22 so hopefully gimbals this morning had it a little better than we did yersterday around the kensico.

I joined the club about a month ago and have enjoyed commenting and conversing on the message boards. I have run into a couple of members in CP too, and you all seem such nice folk..... BUT... I apparently missed the boat on SIG signup and waiting list and seem to be out in the cold... I did a self test and wound up with a 15.4 average MPH but there don't seem to be any C rides on Saturdays, except for SIG rides which apparently I can't be part of because I wasn't signed up in time.

Are there going to be any non exclusive Saturday rides.. I am new to the club but feel like I am some sort of junior member as I can't get into the rides I signed up for. And there don't seem to be any rides on Saturdays for less that B 16 ..
