Hi,
I am getting my first custom road bike, and am trying to decide whether to get 650c or 700c wheels. Does anyone have any experience or advice about the pros and cons of each that would be helpful? I am 5' 1" tall.

OK, so I have been only half paying attention to everything that has been going on in CP with lights, tickets, cops, etc. I'm about to head out this weekend for my first riding of the season and I want to do some CP laps. I understand that much of this has already been discussed on here but can someone please answer these questions so I know what to expect:

1) Are the tickets only for the hours that traffic is closed in the park? In other words if I do laps in CP during the times that it is closed to cars do I still have to stop at the red lights?

While 18 of the 269 people killed in crashes in New York City last year were cyclists, no figure could be provided on how many of the total deaths could actually be blamed on cyclists because they were "so insignificant a factor."

this morning's petition ride was successful.  we got roadies, commuters and runners to sign pretty easily.  i'll let harry fill in the details.

Tomorrow's SIG isn't rained out (Saturday, 3/19 - -YAY) so I'm unable to use this spot at a neat sports clinic Free bkfst and refreshments, plus the first 100 get goodie bags.
