If you are going up to the Berkshires for Memorial Day Weekend, don't forget to register for the dinner/dance at the Egremont Country Club on Sunday, May 29.  It is a great time - if you haven't attended the Memorial Day dinner, ask anyone who has. They will tell you about the helmet-less socializing, tasty food, and still having energy to dance.   For $50, you get passed hor d'oeurves, salad, buffet dinner (fish, chicken and vegetarian entrees, seasonal vegetables, and brown rice), dessert, coffee or tea.  And don't forget dancing the night away to the tracks spun by DJ Don.  Reservations close on Friday, May 20.  No reservations accepted after May 20. No pay at the door.

If you are still considering going to the Berkshires for Memorial Day Weekend and haven't yet made lodging reservations, read this message I received from The Weathervane Inn:

Due to more rain and especially thunderstorms, than I think most people want to ride in at this time of year if they have a choice Daniel and I are cancelling tomorrows Liberty Epic and rescheduling for next Sunday which looks like nice weather. Yes, the Bloomin Metric is that day but I don't have a ticket and they are sold out.

Starting around 9:30-ish tomorrow, Marilyn and Ken will probably wander about Manhattan on our folders--carrying rain gear--so we can duck into a store or subway on short notice. Wanna join us?
