A day at the races: revised
Today was to have been my first cyclocross race. In true NYC fashion, I would have toed the line on our own Staten Island. Alas, the grounds were required for recovery staging, and the race was cancelled. That was when race organizer and sponsor NYC Velo decided to turn this disappointment into a chance to give back, and shifted from running a race to lending whatever help we could offer in the areas so desperately in need of able bodies.
Piermont Ave open between Piermont & Nyack
Piermont Ave (aka River Rd) was open between Piermont & Nyack in both directions when I rode it today around 3pm.
FREE copies of Bicycling Magazine
Good morning all:
I have "inherited" approximately one decade/ten years of Bicycling Magazine, Mountain Bike, and LAW mags. Libraries, Recycle-A-Bicycle and after sale stores do not want them. I need to get rid of them. Who would like them? FREE.
Please respond off line. I live in the East village for pick up.
Hope you are all well and thriving.
Ride Easy and Ride Safe.

river road updates?
Have a ride planned on saturday that will take river road. Was wondering what the conditions of the road are as of late given the "nor'easter" and debris from Sandy? Essentially, should a group of 10+ be trying to ride on RR or are conditions not safe?
Thanks
