May I speak to a club leader?
I am not an experienced cyclist and hills can be tough on my back. I'm interested in joining the club but don't know if even the easiest rides would be too much for me. May I speak to a club leader?
How Well Lit is the Central Park Loop at Night
Would I need anything more than a small light on both the front and back to ensure that I am visable to others, or do I actually need lighting that will illuminate the road ahead?
Thanks,
Rod C.

Ride Submission Quirk
I listed a Piermont ride this Saturday and because 30 people have signed up, I asked for and received volunteers to co-lead (we'll probably divide ourselves into a couple or three groups if everyone shows up).
I discovered that when one is listed as a leader, his or her name remains on the ride list, which if full, blocks others from signing on. At first I thought this was a bug, but there is a good reason: The leaders' names don't have emergency contact information; that is on the ride list. Therefore, if one is "promoting" a participant to co-leader, also add a couple new spots on the list. It beats having to write somone's name in with frozen fingers!
