im signed up for the Harlem Valley Rail Ride tomorrow and my car has developed a catastrophic electrical issue which can't be repaired til Monday. Anyone driving up in the morning that could accommodate an additional rider and bike? It's a long shot but I thought I'd try here. I ran into a friendly chap from South Africa at Strictly this morning. He was showing off some new teck he is cloud sourcing funding for.

Its a gizmo that uses radar to tell you about traffic baring down from behind.

I thought it was something that might be worth a dicussion.

I'm riding the South/North County up to Brewster Saturday as the weather looks very favorable. This ride has gone up on the ride board so if you are interested please consider signing up and coming along.  The ride leaves early and the intent is to make the 11:44 train back from Brewster getting into GCT at just after 1:00pm. 18mph pace and 1800 feet of gradual climb. B level ride. Brief rest stop on the way up.

There may be good news on the Citibike front… at least I hope there is…

A quick question... Has anybody written to or approached the CP Conservancy re the degraded state of the bike lane markings, especially on the lower part of the lower loop.

Its getting to the point that cabs just don't care because the lane markings have been worn away.

Should I write letters or would it be more powerful coming from one of our elected officials.
