We have relisted the ride for next saturday January 31st. Lets hope the weather then is more merciful.
Giro Customer Service
I strongly suggest you do NOT purchase Giro helmets unless you can afford to just buy a new one when something they should back up goes wrong. The plastic fit system in the back of my helmet ($269 retail) broke after a year and a half. "It is out of warranty" was the answer I got. Yes, of course it is, but why wouldn't they back up their products? That's the last Giro anything I will purchase.
Citi Bike UWS Expanson Planning
"Tranquillo" (French Bicycle Touring Company) - ever heard of them?
Planning a cycling trip to France in July. Tranquillo offers reasonably priced support (luggage transport, hotels and self-guided routes). Anyone ever toured with them (or even heard of them)? Advice requested! Thank you.
"Discover France Adventures" - anyone toured with them?

Brooklyn B15 Dumpling Ride postponed to Sunday, 1/25/15
The weather forecast for Saturday is dismal. We're going to try for Sunday but if the roads are icy or snow covered, we will cancel Sunday so check back here to be sure.
Cycle Greater Yellowstone
Last summer, 14 NYCCers participated in the Cycle Greater Yellowstone ride - 7 days of amazing cycling in and around the Grand Tetons. Our group included A and B riders - and there were C-level riders in the larger group - and a great time was had by all. This year's ride expects to be just as amazing, and will begin and end in Red Lodge, Montana. Information on the ride can be found at www.cyclegreateryellowstone.com.
There will be an information session on Tuesday, January 27th, with Geoff Stephens, former New Yorker and current Ambassador for the ride. The event will take place at 6:30pm at EMS at 530 Broadway (between Prince and Spring). Free, of course, with drinks and snacks provided.
