iCalender Feed for confirmed rides
Am I the only one who finds keeping track of ride schedules a bit cumbersome? Some of the web apps I use (like trello.com) generate iCal feeds, that you just stick into your calendar, and pooof - you have a schedule of items on your phone. Could we do the same with our wonderful
NYCC rides?

"Training for Optimal Performance" - club meeting thisTuesday at Connolly's
Event: Monthly Club Meeting
Date: June 13, 2017
Location: Connolly’s Bar & Restaurant, 121 West 45th St. (3rd fl.) (bet. 6th Ave. & Broadway)
Training for Optimal Performance
As recreational cyclists, we spend a more than a fair amount of time on our bikes, but are we actually training for optimal performance or even improving? Do you know that this year a couple of young, eager and innovative NYCC members have developed the club’s first racing and development team and ……have been remarkably successful?

Ride Library on RWGPS ?
Does NYCC have a username/account existing on RWGPS where all of the rwgps routes created over time reside? Or are they all spread throughout the various leaders' accounts?
I'm aware of the ride library on this site, but curious if one is being maintained on RWGPS since that seems to be the favored source of mapping/downloads for GPS users.
NYCC Incentive Program - Gabby Warshawer
I picked up my prize volunteer award from the bike shop the other day. I was proud to have qualified for the gift from the Club. The guy behind the counter at the bike shop asked me my name and went to a shelf stacked with awards waiting to be picked up. There, in the stack, was a package with my name on it. I said to the guy behind the counter, “Thank you. It’s very nice of you to do this for our Club.
The guy said, “That wonderful person, Gabby, is so lovely, so orderly, so nice, she is a pleasure to work with”.
I said, “I know”.

The Gunks
Does anyone have a route for a 50-65 mile loop through the Gunks? Those in the library are 75-100 miles. I would drive up so my start/finish can be flexible. Thanks.
Beware rivers of gravel near Mohonk
Springtown road is strewn with heavy gravel, presumably as preface to their chipsealing process. Those heading northwest toward the Mohonk ascent should be careful. Those descending Mohonk toward New Paltz had better be extremely cautious. The sudden turn onto Springtown after that rapid declivity could be fatal....
Just FYI....

How are the road conditions. i saw a sign on Bradley last week about loose gravel (guess it's chip seal season). wondering if its to be avoided or not for the next several days or so
