This makes LA's "The Program" look like child's play.
Does this exist? A local bike fitter who is also an expert on L5 back / nerve impingement problems?
I've worked periodically with PTs on my mild L5 disc herniation. My situation has gotten much better through the years, but it's still problematic. My particular issue manifests itself in my foot.
To supplement my existing PT work I'm seeking a bike fitter who knows the back, and can work with me for a couple of sessions on adjusting my fit to mitigate the issue.
I should say that I'm not looking for a race fit, or a tri-fit, or a generalist bike fitter even. Rather, I'm seeking someone who can look at me on the bike — maybe even do a few laps with me in the park — and make suggestions on tweaks to my in-seat form or bike geometry/setup to help my back in particular.
Any recommendations would be helpful!

Thanks to all who had a hand in organizing today's cookout in Piermont. 'Twas great to see so many familiar faces and meet new people too.

Red light ticket: $375?!
Hi all, I just got my 2nd red light ticket on my bike in the past 5 years. The first one was around $180. This one was billed at $350. Can anyone shed light on this? Why so much: has the amount gone up overall? Does a 2nd offense get hit harder? Thanks for any advice, and consolations! Adam

End of Summer Montauk Ride CANCELLED for 8/5
Weather forecast is getting nastier. It's too long of a ride to risk the conditions currently in the forecast. (Light rain all day through all the areas we'll ride through)
Ride may be reposted at some point, but for now it's fully cancelled.
