Anyone know the conditions of River Rd?

It'll be gorgeous on Sunday, and I was inspired to create a moderate length/pace ride to a beautiful castle overlooking the Hudson (train back).

Take a look and you're welcome to join.   Early out, early back. Or hang around a bit on the beautiful grounds at the castle for the special antique and flower shows.

This is a good recovery ride if you SIG-ed it on Saturday.  We'll  have steady pacing, no rush/pushes, and lots of fun and pretty.

Check your email for directions if you're on the roster. 

The jerseys are a "relaxed" cut.  The jackets and vests seem to be a "fitted" cut.

Have you tried these on?  Would you recommend that you go one or two sizes up for the fitted cut?

I seem to be a large in the jersey, would you recommend an XL or 2XL in the jacket and vest.  I dont want too loose but neither do I want pulling under my arms from too tight.

note:  i have seen the charts. I am asking for real world feedback.

I've created several new RWGPS routes that have received 8-digit route numbers.

Copy/pasting them into the snuggl.es/roboviva link from our NYCC message board notes - - I keep getting the response  ".... is not a valid RideWithGPS route".   Plus a frowning smiley face.

Any suggestions or work arounds? How do I make it work to get to a pdf/cue sheet?

Appreciate suggestions.

As of this morning the barriers that narrowed the sidewalk on the NJ side of the bridge have been removed. A crew was sweeping the sidewalk and they told us the barriers would not come back. So, fingers crossed, that hassle may be done with.

(...Not that that's news about that collection of feckless souls that is our State Executive, Assembly and Senate.)
