Does this years incentive program offer the current jersey or the new designed jersey?

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for reading my message. I am brand new to road cycling and am trying to learn as much as possible. I am a 31 year old male living in the Upper East Side. I have done some road biking in the past, but casually with friends. I am hoping to get into full road cycling, with the eventual goal being long rides outside the City and weekend trips. I have seen some of the group rides posted here and hope to get enough skills to join them.

Sunday an alert was sent out at 5:30 a.m. that the bridge would have a delayed opening. No ETA was provided even when called. Finally the path was opened minutes before 9:00 a.m  based on the second alert.  The stated reason was "construction"

Shouldn't the north path be made available under these circumstances? having the path closed from 5:30 a.m. -9:00 a.m. really limits rides. Not sending the alert earlier or providing an ETA makes it difficult to plan around such as maybe taking metro north to Garison and starting the ride North of the city

Hi all, Apologies if this has been covered in other threads.

I'm doing the GFNY this year (my first full century - eek) but I live in Chelsea, so about 9 miles from the start. Does anyone have any advice for getting to the start without putting 9 miles onto my legs before the start gun? I'm really new to NY so was hoping to pick the collective NYCC brain.

What is it like on the day for Subways? It's a crazy early start so will they be running? Can you chuck a road bike in an Uber XL?

Really appreciate any thoughts, I'm happy to be pointed a pre-existing thread (I did look first! promise!).

There's a spread of about 50 total votes between the two jerseys in the runoff contest right now. The same supplier (who created either design) is providing the jerseys. 

Would there be an issue with selling or making available both designs, even if just temporarily?

If it's just a little bit of money, that should not be a huge blocker on the issue. 

Plenty of info & displays of our cycling areas.  Until Aug 4  CPW next to Museum of Natural History and has a nice restaurant
