According to Bicycle Habitat, nationwide sales of bicycles used for "Transportation" are going fast and there might be a near term shortage due to supply chains and decreased in manufacturing.

If you were thinking about getting a "lock up" bike before the pandemic, inexpensive decent bikes could be in short supply soon.
