My GF and I are heading upstate for a few days next week (Wed - Sun).

We'd like to take our bikes with us, so we're looking to borrow/rent a trunk mounted rack from someone.

As we road through Piermont on Sunday, maybe about 9:30ish, there was a group of 4 - 5 cyclists stopped talking to a woman in a driveway, in front of a parked car.  She was screaming and cursing at them, and then grabbed a bike and pushed it a couple of times very aggressively into the cyclist, as he stood there. Does anyone have any insight into what was happening?  At least from my perspective, absent further info, she was essentially assaulting the cyclist with his bike.

B-17 CP Training Ride Co-Leader Wanted

Anyone Co-leader wanted, as we, for now, must be two to lead rides for NYCC. COVID guidelines. I would like to resume leading B-17 CP Training Rides, on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Start time, 6:30, End time, 7:45. If you're not experienced, no worries, we were all newbies. Interested? Great workout, great fun all around.

I would like the companionship of some 'C'ish cyclists to ride a relaxed trip via River Road to State Line Lookout tomorrow morning, June 14.  I am making this invtation because I don't want to suffer alone.  Leaving from Riverside Drive & West 72nd Street 8:30-9 or meet further up. Maybe this has been discussed before. I'm seeking a sunglass solution for cycling with a bifocal prescription. Most makers I'm aware of will not make a prescription sunglass lens that is bifocal. Anybody out there found a satisfactory solution that is hardy enough for road cycling?
