RIP to the two NYC Triathletes-
We all know triathletes who became stronger cyclists through NYCC and the SIGs; And we all have friends who have been injured while cycling or training, but this is terrible.
RIP to the two athletes who passed away during the NYC Triathlon on Sunday. Sympathies and prayers to their familes and loved ones.

This year, the 8th Annual Tour de Foliage will take place on September 18th, beginning and ending at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY. Join us for a great event featuring 15 and 50 mile routes through the beautiful rolling hills of Westchester County.
All riders are served breakfast and lunch; each receives a Tour t-shirt, goody bag and are entered into a raffle to win fabulous prizes. This event benefits the Dysautonomia Foundation, which funds research and treatment for familial dysautonomia (FD), a rare genetic disorder affecting the sensory and autonomic nervous systems.

New York to Las Vegas Challenge 2012
Dear fellow cyclists
My name is Paul Singleton, I am from the Isle of Wight, a small island just off of the South Coast of Great Britain. I am contacting you firstly to introduce myself and to seek your advice. At this moment in time I am putting together a team to take a Cycle Challenge from New York to Las Vegas. We are planning to set out from New York in March 2012 and we need to be in Las Vegas by the end of April 2012.
The reason we are undertaking this challenge is to celebrate my son's 21st birthday which falls on the 2nd May. My son's name was Asa, unfortunately we lost him just over two years ago; it was his wish to go to Las Vegas for his 21st birthday to be able to legally play in the casino's!!
