'Coons in CP

Submitted by jegrgic on Sun, 03/10/2013 - 12:47am

Just a friendly reminder to watch out for increased raccoon activity in CP and prospect park as well.  I was fortunate to have one run out in front of me on my SS tonight, which resulted in what i can imaging was an amazing flying show until i hit the ground.

Helmet is cracked, head is okay

road rash and some messed up clothes.

Status of coon? unknown

Anyone out there trade in "CO2 offsets" ... ?

Submitted by NWeissman on Sat, 03/09/2013 - 11:59am

This is not a "discussion" but if any Club member is a trader in "CO2 offsets", or knowledgeable on the math or knows someone who'd be willing to vet some numbers, I could use some help on a project.   Message me.  Thanks.

B16 Morning Laps in Central Park

Submitted by GRoss on Sat, 03/09/2013 - 6:43am

The Tuesday & Thursday morning laps will be led by Linda Wintner. We are still working on cleaning up the ride listing so there aren't two listings at the same time, mine and Lindas. I will be there with the sign-up sheet for "my" rides so don't worry about being on the wrong sign-in sheet but if you think about it, withdraw from my ride and re-list yourself on Linda's ride and we can all enjoy being led by one or our club's pros.

B SIG is ON for Saturday But Wil Start 1/2 Hour Later

Submitted by FLeffel on Fri, 03/08/2013 - 10:01pm

The B SIG ride is ON for Sat March 9 but we will start 1/2 hour later, at 10:00. (But you all know that REALLY means you have to be there at 9:45, right?)

The roads appear to be plowed and clear of snow, but there may be spray caused by runoff and melting snow. Fenders, if you have them, are advised.

See you all in the AM.

Fred
