I'm embarking on a new build soon and my goal is to do 100% of the work myself this time around.  I'm a decent wrench and can do most of the work myself but there are a few tasks that I either don't have the tools for or could use some guidance with.  Does anyone know of a shop that will allow you to use their bench/tools and will guide you through the installation of different components, instead of just doing the work themselves?

I did a search and 718 Cyclery looks promising.  Anyone have experience with them?  Any others I should be looking into?  Thanks!

80% chance of rain tomorrow (Tuesday) morning and most of the day.

Rather than having to wake up to confirm it's raining and then go back to bed, we're calling it early. Prospect park laps are rescheduled this week for Wednesday at 6am.

Please note that I incorrectly listed the starting place as Eleanor Roosevelt on West 72nd.  The correct starting place is Engineers' Gate, 90th Street and Fifth Avenue.  I've corrected the online listing but the listing in the weekly email is wrong.  I'm sorry if I've caused any confusion.

Did you lose a cadence sensor this morning? I found it but you need to identify the make, model and location.
