Does anyone have experience with bike trailers? Trying to find a good double (for 2-year old twins) that can also fold down and store into a closet. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hey fellow NYCCers!

My name is Jenny and for 7 weeks this summer I will be riding from Seattle, WA to Washington, DC with the American Lung Association. I joined NYCC this past fall when I signed up for the Big Ride because at the time I knew nothing about cycling. I just finished the C-SIG and have training hard the past few months. I am looking forward to staying active with the club long after my Big Ride is over and hopefully getting to know even more of you.

Hi everyone,

We need to know how many people are taking the train and where they plan on boarding.  This information is necessary in order for us to be assigned a train on Friday morning.  Please email [email protected] if you plan on taking a train back or/and forth from the Berkshires.  I need:

Allegedly there’s a *very* high likelihood of rain tomorrow morning. > 50% chance of precipitation at 7:00AM according to at least three different weather services. So being the cautious, prudent, and responsible ride leader that I am, I should probably cancel Wednesday morning’s River Road ride

…on the other hand, I’ve been burned by overly-pessimistic weather forecasts enough to know that I should wake up early and look out the window before jumping to any conclusions.

next to Econo Lodge--finishing touches being put on it--will have outdoor seating & a bar--might be nice for apres ride refreshments.  The building housed  an Asian restaurant a number of years ago and has been vacant.

Mid week 3 laps ride cancelled for 5/8/13 due to rain forecast.
