Are you feeling left out by not having the speed or stamina to join the D-SIG and D-Rides?
Hi:
- Are you feeling left out by not having the speed or stamina to join the D-SIG and D-Rides?
- Are you looking for something like those rides but at a slower B/faster C pace?
- Do you have a gravel, cross, or MTB bike?
- Are you interested in helping me explore some of the D routes and adapt them to a B15/16 or C14 pace?
I’m looking for a few adventurous members that are interested in helping me explore and adapt some of the D routes for riders that want the challenge, but at a leisurely pace.

"Instead, I went back to Manhattan and joined the New York Cycle Club. Riding in a group is a lot more fun than riding alone. After a cold and snowy winter, I was thrilled to get back out there this spring. I signed up for my first ride in March, 65 miles over the bridge with about 50 riders. ...."
Berkshires - Luggage - Is anyone driving NYC<>MA
Hello Berkshires Memorial Day weekend riders!
Is anyone driving there and back, who would be so kind as to include my (and my brother's) small duffel in your car? I will be either taking the train part way or riding the whole way.
Feel free to DM me at [email protected]
Thank you

GFNY Sunday May 15th Road Closure Information
Following is information on how to navigate around the road closures during the Gran Fondo New York on Sunday, May 15th, 2022. I have received this information from Uli Fluhme—co-founder and co-organizer of the event.
River Road (Henry Hudson Drive) will be closed all day.
For those of you who were avoiding the Broadway Bridge
You can now relax, southbound at least. The expansion joints in both directions have been covered with steel plates, similar to those on the GWB sidewalk. So it's rideable in both directions.
But northbound, there are two possible hazards (which you can see before you get to the bridge):
First, sometimes construction vehicles are parked on the bridge. That makes the rideable area too narrow and it's better to go onto the sidewalk.
And second, if there's heavy, slow-moving northbound traffic, you're liable to get caught in a traffic jam on the north side at the red light at 225th. Not a good place for a bike to be. So if there's heavy traffic, it's better to go onto the sidewalk.
How to benefit the Kids Ride Club with your NYCC apparel purchase.
I'll order what you want. You send a check for it to the Kids Ride Club.
Offer limited to first person, maybe first two people. Must be accepted by April 30th.

Ludicrous analogy of the day
Kinda thin signups this weekend (4/23 & especially 4/24). Likely to cancel my Little Tor, etc., A-ride listing
If you don't want to see that ride option go away, sign up before around noon tomorrow 4/23. If I don't see 2-3 signups by then I will withdraw the listing and do something else. Thanks!
I wonder why there aren't more ride signups in general the whole weekend, honestly, especially with how nice the forecast is looking...
