I need some advice and recommendations on a good mechanic to assist with installation and upgrading of my bike. components. I’ve purchased an electronic group set and need someone to help build that knows their stuff. Any experience or advice you have to share is appreciated. Thanks!

Tom and I want to go somewhere warm to bike and we are thinking about either Tucson or Scottsdale, Arizona. We want to rent bikes, be somewhere beautiful and have the mountains close by (an "easy" vacation). We are open to a bike camp. Any recommendations / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just rode across the 72nd St. transverse at 10PM. The south loop is dry. Moisture on road surface where there are less auto traffic is freezing up. The pavement has not been salted. I'm guessing the conditions north of 72nd is the same or worst. I didn't see any runners out either.

Can anyone suggest a sturdy bike travel case, accepted by airlines, for transporting my bike?

i don't recall ever seeing this. waves look frozen in time. ice as far as i could see. pretty cool. worth a trip in my opinion. wish i took more photos.
