Sean Avery - Former NFL Hockey Star also a Proctector of Bike Lanes

As reported by NY Post, Sean Avery, former NFL hockey star rejected a plea deal in a criminal mischief case.  He was riding his scooter in a bike lane in Greenwich Village and hit a car that blocked the bike lane and caused damage.  Manhattan prosecutors told him that if he paid $3000 in restitution and stayed out of trouble for 6 months they would dismiss the charges.  He declined and said this:
