Looking for a good basic bike fitter in Brooklyn
I've recently been in contact with a woman who is a complete newbie. She's been having some pain while riding, particularly in those female-specific sensitive areas. She wanted to invest in new bike shorts but I suggested she start with a fit and/or new saddle. Can anyone recommend someone in Brooklyn who works well with inexperienced riders (i.e. no 'tude). Thanks.
This morning's River Road Gang!
Just wanted to give a shout out to the excellent group we had out this morning for our weekly River Road excursion! That was a blast!

Error by Online Store for NYCC Clothing
Primal is offering a 20% discount to anyone placing an order for NYCC clothing because they were late on previously placed orders. Wouldn't it make more sense to offer a credit to those people who were actually affected by the error...?
Teach Adults and Kids how to Ride Bikes!
Bike New York, a non-profit bicycling organization, is looking for volunteers to teach our bike education classes.
Bike New York volunteers give New Yorkers the life-changing skill of riding a bicycle through teaching bike education classes. Our classes are free to the public, and held in all five boroughs, from the spring to the fall. Once volunteers go through a brief (and free) training session, they are qualified to teach students of all ages how to ride bicycles, and how to handle their bicycles responsibly and safely. Volunteers are compensated with sweet prizes, many fun social events, and based on amount of time volunteering, free entry to Bike New York rides, including the 5 Boro Tour.
