Technical question about reducing size of PDF files

Submitted by HSchiffman on Mon, 01/09/2012 - 10:08pm

The Ride Library's size restriction for PDF files is 5 mb.

When I attempted to save my latest map off Topo! the file was 12 mb. Surely there is a way to limit the size of these files. Does anyone have a clue to solving this problem?

Thanks, HS

NYCC Ride Library's first mtn bike route!

Some paved and hard pack access but these are mulituse trails, legal on mtn bikes. You must know your capabilies, limits and execise judgement. These are not a rail trails. Everyone will walk their bike at times on this route. You need to know how to handle a mtn bike. Full suspension will be greatly appreciated. Body armor is not a bad idea but no guarantee of full protection.

This route is a stunner. With challenges up and down.

Metro North access to Garrison and from Cold Spring.

Lost a sleeve

Submitted by Eborowka on Sat, 01/07/2012 - 6:18pm

I lost a sleeve to my jacket today on the ride home from Rockland lake. It's bright blue gore wind stopper fabric. Maybe I will get lucky and find out that someone found it and brought it home.  If by chance someone finds it , please email me directly at [email protected]

thank you. Ellen
