So sorry but the weather just is not cooperating.  We feel that riding with wind chills in the teens is really just not fun.

The ramp from 158th down to the west side Greenway is closed, and from the looks of the chain link fence, will stay that way for the foreseeable future. The stairs are still open.

This stinks, because it was a very nice alternative to the potentially-very-slick hill under the GWB. :( Anyone have other easy suggestions? I come fom 181st-ish and prefer to avoid as much traffic as possible.

Please ONLY respond if you intend on going to West Point this July 4th.  I would appreciate only serious responses.

West Point starts on July 4th this year, so we will be riding up there and most of us arriving early to mid afternoon.  I would like to know how many participants would be interested in doing the river cruise with dinner and view of the fireworks.  In past years, it has been on the second night, and people felt pressured to either cut their rides shorter to make the boat or not go at all.  There is no such pressure this year, and since the barbecue will be on day 2 of the three-day trip, it would be nice, especially since we have many new club members who have never been on a West Point weekend.

With 20-30 % chance of precip and a HIGH of 32, winds at 12-15, I'm going to spend my birthday doing warmer things.  I hope you guys are understanding of that.
